Bathing Suits!

Mix & Match Bathing Suits were all the rage this summer in the Hamptons. Here are my originals and some potential mix and match options. Let me know what you think. The first two suits are from Victorias Secret, the third is JCrew. In the bottom picture one is Missoni and the other is from high school...a long, long time ago! More to come! 

More Floral!

Two more floral dresses, both from Forever 21. Take your pick, at least one has to go!!! Need to clean out the closet!

Purple Knit Top

This purple knit top is from BCBG. Might work with jeans. I am not sure if it makes the cut. Give me your thoughts! You can also leave feedback on the shorts. I already know I have chicken legs and I rarely wear shorts! They are from JCrew.

Time to think about going back to work, and that means interviewing! This is a black suit I bought from Banana Republic on sale this summer with a gray ruffled blouse from ESPRIT.

It was graduation week so I have been wearing blue! The third dress is navy. And unfortunately the iPhone didn't take such a great picture of the first dress.

Some people wanted to see my shoes. I don't have the best photography setup (I'm working on it), but I will try to include any shoes/accessories I put with the outfits. This os a Forever 21 dress with a blue cashmere JCrew sweater.

One of Many Floral Dresses

This is a Forever 21 Black Floral dress from last season. I am not a huge fan of floral, but I get so many compliments, and it isn't quite as boring as my basic black and gray. But is it worth keeping??

Casual Evening Wear

My new top has arrived. I can't wait to wear it with white pants, but it is a bit too soon for that! How does it pair with my 7 jeans??

Slacking

I really slacked this week. I am going to try to be better about getting the daily shots up. Also, the poll was an epic fail. Comments are anonymous, so please don't hesitate to leave feedback, just don't be too harsh! So far I have already decided to get rid of the gray dress and the black dress. New Arrivals

From JCrew, a new sleeveless shirt and cashmere sweater. I guess they look a little crooked in the picture, but they added some color to my wardrobe!

Updates!

Thanks to all who have viewed my blog for the past week. I have made some changes to make this site easier for you to give me feedback. First of all, you can make comments anonymously! Secondly, I added a poll. Just mark the box describing outfits you think I need to get rid of! You have a week to vote. At the end of the week, I will ditch the clothes that didn't pass the test.

In more exciting news, I have ordered a few more pieces, and I will have them up on the blog early next week. I have also found older pictures of me in several questionable outfits. I'll be cropping those to post them as well.

Casual Friday

I bought this shirt in 5 different colors from JCrew. I have pink/purple/white/navy/green! Overkill, I know. They were $11 each, and easy for a day like today. But should they stay or go? The pants are just a striped khaki from the gap. Would love to upgrade pants at some point in the near future, but I don't even know where to start!!!

Dresses for Work

The first is a designer dress, a gift from my former boss. The second is from Forever 21, never worn before!

Looking for a formal gown. Two options I considered today. Which one do you like better?? The first is by Jump, the second is an Isaac Mizrahi dress.

Job Interview!

Today was my first job interview for my new career as a teacher. This is what I wore. The other candidate had on black pants, a button down, and a sweater. This is a JCrew dress & sweater.

Welcome to My Blog!

I have a closet full of clothing, and as I transition from one career to the next, I really need to update my wardrobe. Some pieces were easier to let go than others. My goal is to photograph my outfit each day and get your feedback. From your comments I will start weeding out my weakest pieces, and hopefully purchase 5 nice blouses and 5 low-end easy to wash pieces to mix in for more casual days! I look forward to your feedback!
